Are KammBar Fleet Roof Bars load rated to carry a TentBox?
KammBar Fleet roof bars are load rated at 50kg per roof bar.
Theoretically they would be ok, a pair of KammBar fleet has a Dynamic load rating of 50kg per bar for a total of 100kg.
The heaviest TentBox is the Cargo 2.0 at 72kg so well within the roof bars Dynamic limit.
When you add two people with a Maximum internal weight of 300kg into the TentBox then the limit maybe being pushed.
We would always suggest opting for the KammBar Pro or KammBar Black from the Rhino KammBar Range.
If you are happy to consider other Brands to mount your TentBox we also offer the Van Guard Ulti Bar+ which is rated at 80kg per roof bar.
